1. Purpose
NORSAM TECHNOLOGIES INC. identifies and assesses risks related to conflict minerals on an ongoing basis, taking into account risks arising from our particular operating contexts in our operations. This document confirms our compliance with the responsible sourcing requirements of the Declaration.
2. Risk Assessment Process
We maintain an ongoing risk assessment process that includes:
- Annual review of all product bill-of-materials (BOM) to identify any use of 3TG metals.
- Review of supplier declarations and the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT).
- Monitoring of industry resources from the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI)
- Immediate assessment for any new products, components, or suppliers.
This process is conducted as part of our standard operations and supply-chain management.
