Norsam Technologies Inc. is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics, human rights, and responsible business conduct. This procedure establishes clear processes for reporting concerns, ensuring accountability, and providing remedy related to the topics covered by our Responsible Minerals Sourcing Policy, Responsible Labor Practices and Human Rights Policy, and Supplier Code of Conduct.

1. Reporting Process (Without Fear of Retaliation)

Norsam Technologies Inc. provides a safe, confidential, and accessible process for all workers, agents, contractors, and other stakeholders to report any concerns, suspected violations, or potential adverse impacts related to forced labor, human trafficking, child labor, discrimination, responsible minerals sourcing, or any other topics covered by this Declaration.

  • Reports may be made confidentially or anonymously to senior management (President/Owner) via email, phone, or in person.
  • All reports will be received and reviewed promptly and in confidence.
  • Zero tolerance for retaliation: No worker or agent will suffer any adverse action, intimidation, or retaliation for making a good-faith report. Any form of retaliation is itself a serious violation and will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

2. Internal Accountability Standards and Procedures

Norsam Technologies Inc. maintains internal accountability standards to respond to any failure by workers or agents to meet company policies on the topics covered by this Declaration.

  • All reported concerns are investigated fairly, thoroughly, and in a timely manner by senior management.
  • Where a violation is confirmed, appropriate corrective and disciplinary actions will be taken, up to and including termination of employment or business relationship.
  • Records of investigations and outcomes are maintained confidentially in accordance with applicable law.

3. Remediation Process

When an adverse impact related to the topics covered by this Declaration is identified (whether caused by our operations or our business relationships), Norsam Technologies Inc. will provide for or participate in legitimate remediation processes.

  • We will promptly engage with affected stakeholders to understand the harm and determine appropriate remedy.
  • Remediation may include, but is not limited to, policy changes, training, or other restorative measures designed to address the adverse impact.
  • We commit to monitoring the effectiveness of any remediation provided.

This procedure applies to all employees, contractors, agents, and business partners of Norsam Technologies Inc. The company periodically reviews and updates this procedure to ensure its continued effectiveness.
